IOLITEC signs R&D-Co-operation on Lithium-Ion-Batteries with the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe: To understand the physical and chemical fundamentals of a potential use of ionic liquids in Lithium-ion-batteries. Lithium-Ion-batteries are widely used in notebooks, cell-phones and e.g. iPods. Their use in the hybrid-technology in automotive systems is another very important market.
